My side of the family is pretty spread out but we manage to get together sometime around the holidays to have our own little Christmas. Ours was this past Sunday so Katie got to meet her new furball cousins.
My brother's family have a cocker named Darby. She is a rescue they adopted a year and a half ago, she is two years old. Great dog;

My sister has three dogs, two are mostly hers the other more the family's dog. Sixteen years ago while still mourning the loss of her longtime dog Molly she saw a miniature Schnauzer huddled in the back of a dirty cage for sale in a pet store, she was struck so much by the dog she took it home. Reggae has litteraly been on death's door so many times I call her a timex dog cause she takes a licking and keeps on ticking. She's going blind, getting senile and has trouble getting around but is still with us;

Her other dog is Claire. Claire is estimated to be about ten years old, she spent the first half of her year as a breeder in a puppy mill until she (and a bunch more) were rescued. She is still very shy but is a real sweet little dog;

Their family dog is Ozzy, he was rescued from the pound. We often wonder what the heck kind of mix he is;

Looks like its time to go for a walk, my niece in the Berry sweat is in college and plans to be a vet;

The whole family was smitten with Katie (they don't have to live with her though:D);
