Thank you everyone. Just saw this thread.

A couple of surprise parties, although one wasn't a surprise.

The manager in our office a month ago sent me a surprising e-mail, saying: "We should throw Rick a surprise party on his 50th birthday!!" This was a little unexpected in my inbox, so I immediately replied: "Absolutely!!! Let's do something grandiose!!" She actually replied to that . . . . then figured it out. She'd intended sending it to her own assistant. So I put "Surprise birthday party" into my daytimer and waited for the event.

Carol surprised me a few days later with some office colleagues in a restaurant in Okotoks for brunch.

Abby and Keeper got me a 10 lb Toberlerone, which I threw into a snow drift and photographed framed against the mountains at sunrise. I'll send it to Toberlerone and see if they'll give me a free one!!!

Thanks again.

I've tried finding an e-mail address for them, to no avail . . . . I was hoping to score some free samples.

Yeah, I saw all that . . . . thought it was "damned odd" (obligatory Doc Cottle, Battlestar Galactica reference) that I couldn't e-mail Toblerone directly. I'll try Kraft.

Thanks
