a couple of birds

Here are a couple that I took a short time ago. I like to take a mixture of dried fruits and nuts to attract some birds for photographing. Only got a nuthatch this day. Red-bellied woodpecker would not allow me a good shot and stayed so far away.

I thought that red-bellied woodpecker was pretty close! :thumbs up The downy looks pretty close, too, unless you have one heck of a zoom lens. :D

Na, they wouldn't let me get too close, I had a zoom lens attached. The nuthatch was about 8 feet away.
