Marley and Me Warning Video - Cute and for ANY Prospective Puppy Owner

December 18th, 2008, 11:23 AM
Many doggy people are worried the approaching Christmas time release of the movie Marley and Me will spur interest in yellow Labs by people who don't understand what they are getting into. How that could be after reading the book or seeing the movie is hard to understand, but nevertheless the worry is there and apparently this short clip, narrated by the author of the book, John Grogan, is a warning that any puppy owner or would-be puppy owner, would be advised to watch. It also advises checking out the AKC website for more details on puppy/dog ownership. For people outside the U.S. just substitute your own country's kennel club. Enjoy.

What a cutie pie puppy :cloud9:

There was a warning on CTV Ottawa news on getting puppies for Xmas and to know where you are getting your pups from. They interviewed a lady who had a rescue from one of the puppymills in Quebec.

they had 11 purebred yellow lab pups of different ages to find homes for after the shooting of the movie was over, most went to Fox employee's that all had to fill out proper adoption forms and be approved, Jennifer Anniston (sp?) adopted one herself. I wateched her on a talk show mentioning it.
