Thanks to Frenchy for this link about a dog that got his tongue stuck in a ball that had no second hole to let air in and out.
Beware of these types of balls as when dogs pierce through them a vacuum can be formed and their tongues can get stuck inside.

when this was originally posted here, several of us emailed the company that manufactures the ball. They responded that they were looking after the vet bills, but weren't really at all remorseful for the situation.

After that story came out, I inspected every ball my dogs have to make sure that this could not happen to them, and threw out the ones that I thought posed a danger.
I thought I read somewhere that the manufacturer was going to redesign the ball to include a second hole?

The company does have a section on their website about the recall on these balls.

Thanks Marko , I know some of you already knew this but , I think it's important for everyone to be aware as some pet shops may still be selling them. And with x-mas coming , we all have to make sure we buy safe toys for our pets :thumbs up
