Big Brother is alive and well at Hazel Run

hazelrunpack

The Hazel Run Pack takes very good care of the Hazel Run Humans. This isn't as easy as it sounds because the Hazel Run Humans require constant vigilance.

Take today, for instance. The Hazel Run Daddy was fixing a drawer and needed some direction on how to go about the project. Deputy Brier was right there to help.

"Yeah, drill right there..."
45051

"When you get that piece attached, the whole thing goes here..."
45052

45053
"Holy cats, Mom! Dad is a messy worker, isn't he?"

hazelrunpack
December 6th, 2008, 09:46 PM
Once the drawer was glued, screwed and clamped, the HRD put on his coat.
This, of course, required the entire Pack's attention since it seemed a Human was actually going to be leaving the house.

"We'll help ya, Dad!"
45054

"Yeah, we're coming, too!"
45055

"Where are we going, anyway?"
45056

"Nowhere! It's too cold. You guys stay inside!"

"Can you see him?"

"What's he doing out there?"

"He's not lost, is he?"

"Let me look!"

"What's taking so long!"

"Will we ever see him again!?!"

45059

"Oh, wait...here he comes!!"

hazelrunpack
December 6th, 2008, 09:54 PM
"Hey, what took you so long, Dad! We were worried we'd lost you!"
45060

"We won't lose you again, Dad. You can count on us!"
45061

"No worries, Dad! Okay! Escort form up, he's heading down the hall...."
45062

Just another vigilant day of Human-Watching at Hazel Run.

the end :D

OMG Hazel!! I was just trying to get enough energy up to get up and go to bed when I saw your story. That is so sweet the way all the puppers watch daddy!! They want to make sure he is safe. I guess when he's at work it's pretty hard on their nerves, huh? :cloud9:
K, now I am going to bed..................

Nah, when he's at work, they just transfer all their vigilance to the Hazel Run Mama! Frankly, it's sometimes hard to walk in our house....you almost always have to dodge around someone! :dog: :o

They're a little more relaxed when it comes to the HRM...even though she's not as likely to leave for long periods of time like the HRD does, they still have to keep an eye or two or sixteen on her... :D

I am 100% sure you guys close the bathroom door when you gotta go

Depends on how cold it is. You'd be surprised how quickly 9 bodies can warm up our small bathrooms!

:DThe HRpack are ready willing and able to take on any task required of them no matter how small. I'm sure that drawer would not have been fixed adequately if not for the watchful eye of Deputy Brier.
So glad their constant vigil helped the HRD get back inside safely.

urm...yes...I'm ahhh...well....

And, you just know that she's going to blame her memory on Madame Hazel.

...oh rats....can't use that one, eh? And I see TDFO is out, too. :o That doesn't leave me much choice but to try harder to get that particular shot, eh? I've been trying, but unfortunately, unless someone is actually using the facilities, it's nearly impossible to get them all in there. :D Would you settle for a shot from the basement of them all waiting at the basement door to get into the kitchen?

The watching out the window is my favorite. I'd love to see the photo from the outside looking in.

I don't have any of all of them at the window, but...

...from our first year here, when we still just had the original Trio (Cass, Ember and Cole)

Aw, thanks, diandpat. The pic of the Trio isn't framed, but it is in one of the albums. I have 14 picture albums :o One of them is of family and friends...the other 13 are canine in nature. Yes, I'm a little dog-happy  It worries me that I haven't found a good home for my albums when I die...no one wants them so they'll likely be trashed... :o :D

And Frenchy and rainbow...sigh...more 3-headed freak stories? :frustrated: Well it would be a good excuse to go get 'liquored up' on caffeine...hmmmm  Oh, madame hazel! Wanna go put the pot o' coffee on? Hmmmmm?

Hazel, Angeldogs had a good idea you know. You really could publish these stories into childrens books with pics. Kids love the animal pics and the stories are short enough to keep their interest. You really should compile some... Seriously. But enough of that, what great pics and story. I never see enough of the pack.
