I am looking into getting a microchip put into my new kitty should anything ever happen to her.

Can you give me info about them, what they do to put it in, how it works, and prices.

She will most likley be getting this done the same time she gets spayed.

It is virtually painless. The vet uses a needle to insert the tiny microchip in the back of the neck, takes no longer than a vaccination.

Sweet Pea is with 24petwatch and Jasper is with M4S:

Both only have the initial cost at the vets. Jasper was 60 dollars and not sure about Sweet Pea as she was done by the shelter. The only thing you need to do is to keep your contact info updated on their website :thumbs up.

As with any injection, there can be a small incident of infection or fibrosarcoma.
