Below, Keeper with lots of energy as a cancer survivor!!! That's the Kananaskis Range behind her. Our easy access to this place closes for the winter today . . . . . we have to add a half hour to our voyage by another route until May. But we'll be back.

Rick C November 30th, 2008, 04:58 PM . Did she stay in the water long? Brrrrrr
I watch them closely, but frigid water doesn't bother them for a fairly long time but, like anything, it would eventually catch up to them. So we move on fairly quickly at this time of year.
Below, from today, Keeper silhouetted on the ice of Chain Lakes.

I don't have that one framed . . . . . . but Abby and Keeper were asked to donate a framed picture to a charity silent auction last week.
This one from a year ago, a walk to Chester Lake in Kananaskis with the snow falling and the sun shining, altered to look like a painting, is the one they donated to auction and fetched $200 for charity.
