my cats lips

my cats lower lips are swollen. please look at the pictures i took today and let me know if you experienced this with your cat:sad:

I could only view one, (photobucket is slow on my computer)
First, get rid of any plastic bowls for food and water. Get stainless steel or ceramic bowls.
Actually, #1 should be to consult with your vet to make sure there is not an emergency like, wasp sting, poison encounter or such. Or something inbedded in her mouth.

hi,
i never give my cats food in plastic bowls. they have ceramic and glass bowls.
the vet said it looks like an alergy or she hurt herself with our cactus. i removed the cactus a few days ago.
the vet prescribed Cortisone. and in a week if it does not go away we will be going back again.
