Lost very large white dog, near Winchester Ontario

He went missing on Friday 14th November, he was wearing two collars and probably still has the cable attached to him. He is a very large, all white dog. He is a Maremma Sheepdog, which is similar to a Great Pyrenees. He is probably about 100lbs.

He is very fearful, and may seem as if abused. He has only been with us for 2 weeks and we are still trying to gain his trust.

He was last seen on Friday afternoon just north of Winchester (near Ottawa, Ontario), heading south.

That's right near my neck of the woods. I'm in Chesterville. I'll keep an eye out and tell others to do the same. That's a looooooot of wooded and agricultural space, :sad: Hope he's found, he's very handsome.

id check forest areas and hills if there are any about maremas are mountain dogs so he might go into there

It's pretty flat out here, but there are many, many woodlots.

I think this breed is used for guarding sheep and is raised with them....may find him hanging out with a flock of sheep.

thats the one.... they are great dogs need LOOOTS of exercise...
