Bloody stool in heathly dog

Hi! I've never used this site but I thought I would give it a try.
My dog has had blood in his stool for a couple of days. It has been relatively normal, not diarrhea. He is showing no signs of illness whatsoever. Eating well, not scratching his rear end and the usual endless energy. Bubba is a 6 year old Husky who hasn't been sick a day in his life. I don't want to overreact if it's nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Steph

Blood comes from somewhere. You should take your dog and a fresh stool sample to the vet to determine what may be going on. If in doubt, you can't go wrong by going to the vet. If nothing else, you'll establish a "health history" with your vet. This can be invaluable in times of crisis! If there is a problem, you can prevent it from worsening from neglect and save your pet from needless suffering.

OK, your dog is not perfectly healthy if he has blood in his poop. Take a stool sample and your dog and head off to the vet. I wouldn't delay this any longer.

could be worms - but check with your vet
