Night Launch!

November 13th, 2008, 09:34 PM
I am ready..I do hope the weather holds so I can see the sky light up. Right before 8 pm tomorrow the shuttle is due to light the big candle.

I miss seeing the Apollo launches from the best seat ever, the beach!

Last time I heard, all systems are GO!

As always, I do pray for the crew, Have a safe flight, escape our limits in an effort to explore more for mankind. Gods Speed and we'll see you all back here, at home.
*And good luck with the new toilet on the station, 3rd time is a charm*

Light That Fire Baby!

I watched from work...we had partly scattered clouds which added to the beautiful launch! It was so awesome!

I looked towards the east which was bright orange and growing...I was also screaming for everyone to get out here! What a sight, Endeavor tracked to the north to give us a longer view. Picture perfect but sorry, I do not have a camera available anymore. Omg, I grew up with this but it never get's old.
You cannot ask for a better light show, ever!
Gods Speed Endeavor, Gods Speed.
(The space labs really needs that new toilet)
I hope the spiders on board are....well, not coming back. If any one ever get's a chance to view a night launch, do it. They are the best.
