Wow, nobody can sneak up to your place without your beautiful pups warning you! Bet they love being able to see outside to keep watch.

That's nothing! If the curtains are closed they get up on my bed, with front feet on the headboard and part those curtains (lighter weight ones) with their noses to look out. Lots of times if I'm just outside the house and the dogs are in I'll see at least 3 faces looking out the windows. :dog: :D All very cute until they come in from running through muddy fields soaking wet and dripping mud :yuck: Then I keep all curtains closed and tip up the couch cushions to try to keep them off. Usually also come downstairs and online for a while since most of the dogs follow me down here and they get time to dry off away from the living room and bedroom furniture. Right now they're :sleepy: around my feet after doing a 4 1/2 mile run on the training cart.

Aw it is fun to see dogs do that - Loki does that in the bedrooms - she looks out the window and if she sees a dog coming up the drive, she will run into the living room and jump up on the settee and watch it from the side windows!!

Your dogs are lovely.

Take care.

Oh but they loovvve to be out (with me) and Noah even likes to spend hours by himself lying on the back deck when it's cool/cold outside. The dogs and I spend hours outside puttering around most days. Doing chores, walking/running through the fields, frisbee sometimes, dogs in the backyard while I garden (they wait for me to throw them veggies over the fence, they love beans and carrots) sledding/hiking around our trail in the winter, trail grooming etc. Most days in the winter we go out to do chores just after my daughter leaves for school (about 8am) and I'm not back in the house til around 10:30-11-ish. They love it. They are very much velco "stuck-to-my-side" kind of dogs and even after all that exercise they may appear to be napping sometimes but will wake up to follow me room to room around the house. They settle nicely in the house but don't miss one thing.
