I found this on here: http://www.chinookwindsgreyhounds.org/downloads/ARTICLES%20Spay%20Neuter.pdf

I think it speaks volumes.

I ask for the privilege
of not being born...
until you can assure me
a home and a master to
protect me, and the right
to live as long as I am
physically able to enjoy
life.

Must remember that poem the next time we have a "My kitty/pup wanted to experience at least one litter" or "She accidentally got out when she was in heat" thread.

Thanks for posting it, 14+.

Now it doesn't have to be remembered. It's my signature. ;)
Thought it has meaning.

Just took out offensive message. Sorry. I guess after a year of paying for spaying/neutering/feeding/meds it's starting to get to me.

14+ Your so awesome! I love it! That should be part of an SPCA mission statement!

Maybe the people who have it on their site wouldn't mind sharing it with SPCA's. I agree it is a very powerful statement. That's what I liked about it.
