B didn't come out with us today, he isn't really himself lately *shrug*
Not sure whats up with him, but he just prefers to stay in the house alot lately.
He has lost a bit of interest in some things and that worries me.

I took her for a little ride today, her bruises from last weekend are healing up nicely so I figured that it was time for me to "get back on" as you are supposed to do.
Only thing is I dont have a saddle yet so it was a quick little bareback ride around the paddock ( I'm not that comfortable yet unfortunately and I am NOT a fan of bareback)

It was nice to get on her and take her for a little ride, we both needed that to realize that bad stuff wont always happen to us.
I really must say, I can't believe how much I love this horse already. There is something about her.
Fay is still my "heart horse" as she is my first, but Beauty has one good chunck of my heart too already.

I have a horse Q for you.. (I no nothing) but a free to a good home horse on kiiji. Is that an opening for alot of issues?

It could very well be an opening of issues,
most free horses are permanently lame and should never be ridden again, or are quite old and experiencing health concerns.
However, with the cost of hay and the horrible crop this year due to the rain alot of people are selling off good horses for next to nothing if not for free just to afford to feed the ones they have.

There is also free leasing that could be put down on kijiji as free but that basically means, you board a horse for free and ride it.
Its a little more complicated than that but it sort of boils down to that.

If your gf plans to ride, honestly knowing what I know now and having gotten the horses I have, I would recommend waiting and paying for a good sound horse.

No, I dont think so.
He has his moment where he is full of energy and ready to take on the world, but I dont know if its me constantly chasing him and giving hand signals to keep him away from things like the horses that has him frustrated or confused

Health wise he's fine, checks out normal, but I really think his mind is going.
Its hard and long to explain, he's just not his happy self lately.

The dogs are NOT interested in me today at all. I returned their section of moose carcass to each of them when I got home... should have waited until AFTER our romp.
Oh well its raining anyways.
Chewing burns energy I'm sure, but sadly, it wont be enough for Karma lol, she is non stop:laughing:
