Are they dead or alive? Everytime I have had my animals dewormed I have never saw the dead worms but maybe you can?

I believe you're supposed to see them, depending on the kind they are. If a puppy has worms and he gets dewormed you're bound to see them coming out.

Maybe, my vet said they would just dissolve and you would not see them. My cat had worms and when he did you could see them come out of him but that when he got dewormed you never saw them come out I guess that just broke up and he pooped them out but I never saw them again.

What you are likely seeing is tapeworm segments. It's true you shouldn't see them, but I did once have a kitten and saw the segments too. Gross.

My vet always kept the pet all day to monitor them as well as the poop thing is pretty gross for a lot of owners to handle. Then you have to repeat the process a certain # of days later, to get any that hatched from eggs afterwards.

well some don't seem to be moving.. but most do... i just got scared because i had never seen that..and then i though...oh it must be because of the deworming... but i wasn't 2 sure..
