Ok, so we're HUGE fans of Orijen. Huge. Everyone is doing well on it. The problem is, money is getting tighter around here and we're looking at places we could possibly cut back a BIT and pet food is probably going to have to be one of them. We probably spend an average of 300$/month on pet food. Probably more, I'm afraid to actually do the math.
SO, we love grain-free...it works for our family...does anyone have any suggestions that aren't quite as dear as the Orijen?

What about the new grain free Acana line? I'm not sure on price but Acana was always a bit cheaper than Orijen. Plus it's made by Champion.

Although I haven't tried it that's the one I would suggest as well since Champion Pet Foods has their own manufacturing plant. I have used the Acana regular formula and the dogs liked it. It was about $10 a bag cheaper than Orijen and I *think* the bag was a bit bigger.
The new grain free Acana is called Acana Provincial. (http://www.championpetfoods.com/acana/products.php)

Hmmm....I'll have to see if I can track some down, there's a few places in Ottawa that sell it...we got spoiled because our tiny little Berry's in Winchester started carrying the Orijen, it was sooooo easy to get the food. Maybe if we ask really nice they'll bring in some Acana?
