I am a new member and wanted to say hello.[br]I recently adopted another pet which is what lead me to join a forum, after staring at the millions listed on google I settled for this one (so don't let me down...haha) I've got an adult Female tabby who's been with me for 4 years and recently just adopted a 6yr. old male red nose pit; both adopted from private parties. They are both wonderful pets but my cat (Ember) has been around longer and hasn't exactly warmed up to our new dog (Rusty)...she declawed (she was given to me that way) but has not attempted to bat at Rusty, her hair stands up and she growls just a little bit. We've introduced them twice and its going okay, if anyone has any advice I am all ears :crazy:

***I wanted to add we've introduced them in the kitchen twice, but keep the baby gate up in the hall most of the day and during the night time (Ember gets the bedroom and kitchen access Rusty the living room) It's only been two days also.
