my dog dead 24 hours ago, and I am waiting to bury him. but there seems some blood running out of his nose slowly. is that normal? for some reason, I thought a dead dog would not bleed?

I'm very sorry for your loss.
What was the cause of death?
I suspect maybe there was a little hemorrhage somewhere - maybe his lungs? - which, with the aid of gravity, made it appear that he was actively bleeding. Poor boy, I hope he didn't suffer.
Lucky you to be able to bury him.

If there's any doubt at all in your mind, you may want to TAKE HIM TO A VET. I would think that bowel loss may be normal after death also, but if you're even questioning whether he's dead......jeez!
