I Just Bought A 8 Week Old Yorkie He Is So Small Almost Think He Might Of Been To Little Or Young To Have Been Taken From His Mommy. He Has Pale Gums And He Will Take About 3 Or 4 Steps And Then Lay Down. I Fed Him Baby Formula Once Could This Be To Strong For Him? He Has Drank Water Out Of A Bowl. But Every Time He Drinks He Vomits. Is He Sick Or To Young?

I would be getting to a vet to have a look ! doesnt sound good! especially the pale gums and falling down...did you get the dog from a breeder? if so get back in touch with them? did they wean the pup?

Good luck and let us know how you make out?

I Was Told To Give Him Some Sugar Water And He Should Perk Back Up. They Said Companions This Small R Very Hypoglosimic. However U Spell It. We Will Be Going To The Vet. First Thing In The Morning, Thank You For Your Comment.

A person I know breeds miniture poodles and although 8 weeks can be the normal to let the pup go to the forever home, if the pup is extremely small she will not let it go at that age. She has kept them up to and beyond 12 weeks to ensure they leave healthy and strong. Your dealing with a very small breed and I think maybe the breeder should have keep your little one longer. I hope the vet has good advice for you.

do NOT feed sugar water to an 8 week old pup, if anything feed it pedialyte............and get it to a vet as fast as your fingers can dial a phone
