Check out this handsome little tabby

Someone in my neighborhood didn't want him anymore and threw him out  He's going to a foster home today though! I was lucky enough that I posted an ad on craigslist asking if anyone wanted him, and a volunteer I know from the county shelter emailed me and said she will take him and foster him! She is in charge of one of the PetSmart luv-a-pet centers and is going to put him at PetSmart after he gets fixed and everything so he can find a new home!!!! I'm so happy this turned out so well. He can live happily in a forever home.

'Aint he handsome? :D

He's so friendly too! I hope he finds a new home where he gets all the love and attention he deserves.

Aww, he is so handsome! I am glad that things kind of worked out for him...

He's extremely handsome and outgoing so I have the feeling he's not going to be at PetSmart long :lovestruck:

I took those pictures and had to head out to a dr appt, and on the way home it was pouring outside so I was worried he would run off for the day. Once it calmed down outside I went out there and went around the complex looking for him. I was all muddy and cold so as I was heading back, out of nowhere he popped out and started meowing me. So I gave him a few treats and petted him, and he followed me back to my house. He's in the shed outback with some food, water + litterbox. So he's just hanging out until his new mommy comes over.

He just got picked up. The lady was very nice.. probably only a few years older then me as well. Wishing him best of luck for finding a new home!

Good job Kathryn, it's obvious that rescue runs in your veins!
What a gorgeous guy. Some people have a thing for orange cats, I agree he won't last long.

Aw well done, Kathryn, it is great that a Forever Home will be found for that wee gorgeous kitty. He looks so friendly - 'specially the 2nd last piccy!! May his journey in life be a good one. He certainly deserves it.

Well done!!

Going to miss having the little guy popping out of nowhere and just running over to me  I remember about a month ago when he was originally thrown out he was sitting on my front door step for whatever reason. So I just went out there and sat with him for a while to say hi. Had no idea where he came from or anything. I'm just glad I could get him help this way instead of mgt. setting a trap, catching him, calling animal control, having animal control come and pick him up, having the poor guy wait at the shelter for a week, etc. instead I just by-passed all that and he went directly into foster care. Much less traumatic on the poor little guy.

I'm going to make sure I have his address right and I'm going to have it put on the cats file who abandoned him

Just an update that I named the kitty Chester (after the Cheetos cheeta) and he was negative for FIV/FeLV and got his vaccines... think he was already neutered so he's going to PetSmart... next week I think :D So he can get a new home. He's all fixed up now and in good health and a very happy guy.

I missed this original post. He is a beauty so I don't think it will take too long to be adopted. Great job, Kathryn :thumbs up

What a2 good looking guy (the 2 is honestly Cookie's contribution)!

I especially like the head-scratching shot - his face is just blissful!
