doesn't it seem that we call our animals by so many names it's amazing they know their real ones. :p

all dogs are "poochie" to me (thanks to the simpsons) and puppy, no matter how old they are. I love saying "poochie" so much that other than Casey's name that's the only nickname he has, except when he goes potty in the wrong place. Then he's "little pooper" or "sir pees-a-lot." I'm happy to say I don't use those ones very often anymore!

I tend to call strange dogs I encounter "Woofer". "How ya doin, huh Woofer?"
