I was thinking about getting Sugar a pair to protect her bad eye from the sun when she is out side her eye waters a lot and she rubs it on her paws. If someone uses them ,does your dog like them or do they tend to bug your dog. I tried a pair on her yesterday they didn't seem to bother her but in the store and at home Sugar is different. Will they help her eye or do you think it's a stupid idea that the pet market has come up with to get our money?

i think that the 'doggles' aren't a bad idea, but you cant really trust pet money making schemes. it could be a scam, or it could be the best answer to your problem. but hey, what do i know?? i suggest you try all options, ask a vet maybe. and what type of dog is sugar. i think poochie would look sooooo cute with doggles on!!!!!!!!! a picture maybe?? cutie-pie!!!! :pawprint: i saw a photo of a dog once wearing a babies swimming costume and goggles, and swimming in the sea!! aawwwwwww! wish i could post it, but it was just on a poster:rolleyes:

A friend bought the sunglasses version made by the doggles company a week ago. One of her dogs preened while wearing them. Another was dying to get them off. Cider didn't want them on long enough to take pics.

I found they were pretty well made. The dogs who liked them inside didn't seem to care outside.

My neighbours puppy has some eye disease, can't remember the name, so he can't be in bright sunlight, without damaging his eyes. They bought him the dark sunglasses for puppies. After a little bit he got used to them, now its an oddity to see him without them. The vet says his eyes are much better, and if they keep using the drops and his glasses he wont lose his sight.
