My first Monarch..

I've seen some yellow swallowtails but this a the first Monarch:thumbs up
I asked him to open his wings,but he would not listen:laughing:

I have had a lot of yellow swallowtails, but have not seen any monarchs yet, think the rain is keeping them away :laughing:

I'm trying to wrack my brain (always difficult for madame hazel :rolleyes:)...but I can only recall one Monarch so far this year... However, since I can't remember how early we began seeing them last year, I don't know if that's normal or not... my senior moments have become senior hours.... :o

oh a nice normal thread with pretty butterfly pictures,phew....I don't think i've seen one this year either.

Sorry ladies they are all in QUEENSville. Seen quite a few this year. We have a lot of Milkweed growing out back, maybe that's why :shrug:

Nice Echinea Chico, my Pink ones haven't opened yet. My white ones are looking good, and the other day I bought an Orange one. I've been after one for a couple of years and lucked out and bought one for half price $10. Sorry to err and go :offtopic: again. :sad:

yup thats all monarchs like is milkweed
