Does anyone know of a way to train a cat to call when you call it's name? My cat Oscar likes to sit under beds sometimes, or just be somewhere that you can't quite find him. I am hoping to get him to meow back when I call out his name, any suggestions?

You could try clicker training, or at least use some of the principles of clicker training.
Basically, click and treat (or just treat) any time he meows. When he catches on and starts meowing to try to get a treat, then start adding the command ("speak!" or his name). When he starts figuring it out, only click and treat (or treat) when he meows on command.

Is your cat young? I found it took a while for my cat's to figure out their names, but now when I call any of them, they come running from where they are.. One of them responds to a whistle as well.
The clicker training is a great idea - just make sure you have a lot of patience.. Cats can get bored of training a lot faster than dogs can.
