Moving to Vancouver area - need puppy resources!

Hi all. I am going to be moving to Richmond BC on August 1st (from Toronto) and I just got a Shorkie:) puppy (he's 10 weeks old).

Does anyone know if there are puppy socialization groups in the Vancouver area? Or puppy play dates, etc?

I also want to do puppy training, etc. Is there any great trainers out that way?

Any information on off leash (small dog) parks and other resources would also be very helpful.

Can't help you with trainers in the Richmond area, but training is available everywhere. Do a Google search and check out the community centres.

There are quite a few offleash parks in Vancouver. Check the Parks Board website.
