The laziest cat in the world

I left for work yesterday, and Olive was lying on her back in the orange chair with her head hanging over the seat, watching me leave.
I came home from work nine hours later, and she was in the EXACT SAME POSITION, sound asleep. It was hilarious.
Even Zelda's been sleeping a lot lately.

Is it the heat? Does anyone else's cat go through lazy periods of weeks in the summer? We just moved, and this is our first summer in a non-central-air home.

Mine are mainly active in the mornings before I go to work and a couple of hours later in the evening when I'm home. I'm certain they spend most of the day sleeping because that's what they do on the weekends:shrug:
