Bringing back his ball

Sit, focusing him on the ball

Stay, watching the ball bob around the water

plunging in when he was released..

Already back and waiting for another throw..

It did take alot of work for him to learn that just because the ball was thrown he couldnt chase it right then, but that taught him to focus on the ball when i said "Ready?!" and now he wont take his eye off of it :dog:

Awww.....Enzo is so cute! :cloud9:

That's great that he waits to retrieve the ball.....I found that one took a looooong time to teach and Chase still doesn't totally believe you when you tell him it's "free". Enzo is one smart doggie! He looks like he's doing a perfect job of it. :lovestruck:

It did take a little while to teach him, but it helps in other situations to, like birds flying over head, he learned that he doesnt always need to go after them:rolleyes:

He loves his new bed, its so cushiony. at first he was afraid to go on it, i'm not really sure why though, he loved his old one. So far he hasnt heard chewed this one,, or even tried to chew it, although there has been a little bit of humping :o

Enzo you are a star! I know Molly agrees with you in how hard it is to sit and wait while that silly ball begs to be retrieved :D Molly and I play that game quite often.. we use "go" for release so now I have to be very careful if I ever say "go" cause that basically means "take off like a crazy dog" Molly needs to learn to "keep her eye on the ball" like Enzo does :thumbs up

Nice bed too, you look so very comfy :cloud9:

good boy enzo !!! i had a dog the did that with birds he went crazzzy it took a lomg long long time to train her

otter - yep, when i say ok, or get going he takes off like crazy! and he now loves his new bed, all fluffy and soft.

jim it sure does take a long time to train them to leave birds alone, especially since he has a HIGH chase drive.
