Jolly escaped from my apartment (Near Du college metro) on June 5th. He’s around 12 lbs and is neutered & not de-clawed. His coat is black with a bit of grey underneath with a white spot on the stomach. He wears a black, grey, and white army style collar and has yellow eyes. He might have a broken leg and be limping, however he is a calm natured feline and not at all aggressive. If you find him, call the number below. I love this cat please bring him back to me, Melody. Thanks.

Have you been looking for him in the neighbourhood? Put up posters, talk to your neighbours, ask them to check anywhere he might be hiding or even stuck - garages, sheds. Inside cats generally don't go far, especially at the beginning, so the early days are the most important.
Go outside at night, late, when there is less traffic and fewer people, take some food, call and listen. Put a box - or his bed - outside the door, with something that smells familiar inside - his blanket or a piece of your clothing.
Go in person to the SPCA on a regular basis, calling is not enough, even he has ID, they are always swamped.
Fax his picture to any vets in your area, if he is found with a broken leg , someone kind may take him in.
Replace posters if they are ripped down.
Be pro-active! Don't give up!
Good luck :fingerscr:fingerscr

We continue to do everything we can and have expanded our search. Last night my husband printed out another 50 color posters. The the person who adopted Jolly is devastated and will not give up. She has posted "lost Jolly" on as many web sites she can find and we put him up on the Steri-Website as well. We are doing everything that Badger suggested if anyone has any more ideas please let us know.

First let me start by saying I hope you find your little guy.
I have to ask why you think he has a broken leg? I also find concern in it. You should also be careful in how you word things. Stating that he has a possible broken leg, then say 'however' makes people think that it is not a huge concern too you. I am sure it is...it is just stated funny.

He jumped from a second story window. The screen was accidently left partially open. We have checked the vets in the area and have put up posters in each one. The owner has not given up finding him and visits the SPCA every second day. There are a lot of us rescue people helping. If someone sees a new black cat the owner goes to check it out. This cat could not be loved more and is so dearly missed.
