Just got off the phone with the vet...Harriette is ready to come home tonight!!!
She is not eating yet..he wanted to know if she is shy..oh yeah...is she ever.
Fever gone/no more vomiting/no runs.
I've missed her so much...She sits on my chest or my husband's at night and when you rub her back she drools..sounds terrible but it's cute.
Hold her in my arms like a baby and she just purrs..meows only at 6am when it's feeding time.
Sleeps wrapped around my head like a hat,or in the small of my back.
This is better than Christmas!
Well,she has a new litter box/new cat dishes/a few new toys...am i spoiling her? you bet.
The only thing i'm worried about is giving her the antibiotics..pills.She really is a fusspot about food.Someone said to open her mouth and drop the pill as far back in her throat as possible????Sounds a little bit rough..is this how you do it??
Anyway,got to go buy her a few more toys..just kidding..going back to work.

Yep that's the way you do it. After you drop it in, keep her head up and mouth closed and scratch under her throat and chin. Be sure you feel her swallow it. They can be very sly about spitting it out. Give her lots of lovins along with it and then feed her something good. Puss-Puss gets pilled every morning & night (hyper-thyroid) and she comes to us when it's time. But doesn't open her mouth by herself yet! :D Make it a positive experience each time. :)
