Help! whats wrong w/ my kittens?!

I have a litter of kittens that are about 2 weeks tommorrow and their mom has worms but i cant treat her for it because she's nursing them. All of them are developing this cut thing (its hard to describe) its hard and not much skin there. It pusses on one of them and i started putting hydrogen peroxide on it. I cant figure out why this is forming on all the kittens in the same spot. I have raised kittens for 8 yrs. and have never had this happen before! The only reason i could think is that the mom carries them around alot or that she has worms. I dont know what to do! Help! :confused: thanks, Elizabeth

Take them to the vet asap. Do NOT use hydrogen peroxide!!

You have raised kittens for 8 years? Are you a breeder?

I just finished reading in the Toronto Star about THS and their 500 unwanted cats and kittens.I am very angry at anyone"breeding"cats on purpose,but regardless of that,the damage is done and your kittens need a vet for sure,kittens have very little immunity and can go downhill quickly.

I agree Chico, so many kittens up for adoption strays etc......there is absolutly no justification for breeding them in my eyes.

I feel sorry for your kitties they need a vet and if you've been raising kittens for eight years??????? What for??????

If they are specialty kittens, your not a very good breeder comming here for advice that you should already know VET VET VET :mad:

Thanks Iggy - no offense taken - just feel the cat is a victim too and not to blame. :)
