My new BC puppy Nova

I finally got my little girl today! She's an 11 week old Border Collie. She is adorable, and just wants to explore everything she can. I wasn't sure how my 7 year old Australian Shepherd would take to having a puppy, but its gone extremely well. I think I've decided to call her (Super)Nova. It just seems suiting from her personality.. I don't think this girl is scared of anything! (Except maybe my 55 lb. Aussie charging at her to play non-stop) :lol:

I'm going to try take some more photos, since it was hard to get any of her looking at me when she doesn't have a name yet and was being distracted by Cody. I'm hoping once she grows up to compete in agility and flyball with her, but I'll wait and see what she takes a liking to. It's far too early and I still have to do all the basic training. Potty training is not something I miss though. I'll be starting her with the clicker tomorrow once she regains some appetite, I can't wait to see what this little girl can do.

Today her true colours are starting to show - I think she's got a turbo charge button, ever since she woke up she's been running and playing non-stop since 6am. She's so full of energy, and has made up a new game that her and Cody play where she attacks him from under the couch, then runs out and has zoomies across the room before diving back under. It's funny to watch, and Cody keeps barking at her because he can only fit his head under.

I weighed and measured her today to get a rough idea - she's about 12" at the shoulders and 10.6 lbs. I'll find out next week at the vets more precise measurements. But right now I just can't wait until she is old enough to go out to the park to play and run, she really needs an outlet for all that energy, which is something I knew anyway considering she's a border collie :D
