I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a 10 year old shiatsu named Kelly and in the past 2 days she hasn't been feeling well she seems to have a little problem breathing but is in no pain and is still playful but today at 9 pm she had a little nose bleed and is sneezing but not a lot. Has anyone had or no what may be wrong with here? I no she old and pure breads develop problem in there later years but the amount of test the vet wants to run on her is way out of my budget so if perhaps someone could give me some ideas of what it might be I can let the vet no in advance to look for that first. Hopefully it's nothing serious :fingerscr

Thanks
Bruno

She could have a nose bleed from something that bruised her nose , like a twig , but it can also be cancer , sorry but you will have to bring her to the vet for details.

Unfortunately a nose bleed in a ten year old dog, especially with no excess sneezing is a concern and needs to be worked up. Perhaps ask your veterinarian for a plan to work her up in a stepwise fashion, such as starting with blood work or a course of antibiotics? I agree with Frenchy, there could be a serious problem so we should not ignore this sign, even if it appears to go away.:pawprint:
