June 2008 challenge - Summer fun

Any ideas for this month's photo challenge?

Here's some random ideas..


First day of summer - so summer/beach pics?
'June bugs' - pets with bugs, dressed up as bugs?
It's a big wedding month - pets ready for nuptuals - dressed up like they are getting married?


Okay - I've got nothing

I'm into summer or beach pix...anyone else agree of have a good idea?

Beach photos sound like fun to me too.

i think we need to expand on that some, not everyone has a beach around them.

I agree with you on the aslan, I don't take the dogs to the beach even though we are 10 mins away. Come to that I don't go to the beach. The public ones around here are not that big and way too busy.

How about something totally off the summer theme...like pets looking wise beyond their years, or wrestling with toys and/or another pet, or pets caught in the act of mischief... :D

I would leave the sun idea until July as June can still have quite a few rainy days. :shrug:

Wellll, as you all know, we have no shortage of beach to go around but SUMMER??? that's another matter, you'll have to give me a call in August or so. We barely have leaves on most of the trees, summer has not been seen or hear of yet. I'll see what we can find though :thumbs up

I could do a whole thread with all the pictures I have of shadows having fun at the beach :laughing: ... we go to the beach in the late evening a lot, all the beaches face west, you get the picture :D

"Melinda" is going to be 50 this summer and the last time I wore a bikini was at age 2 *L*....it belonged to my daughter, she refused to wear it again , gee, I wonder why? *LOL* Poor Brina is so patient....

lol, sam and bailley probably were that colour once too, they are just the older more gentle lookin goldens now. Lol its rare to see the little mudmonsters eyes, he takes great offence to being clean and tidy.

This is my in-laws 9 y.o. Lab X Shepherd mix - Heidi. Her favourite summer pastime to keep cool is attacking the water that comes out of the hose :laughing:

Chase took a flying leap into their pool the same day but no pictures of that...we were too busy trying to haul him out before he scratched the liner! :frustrated:
