Oldest dog?

This is a good reminder for people with pets. You never know how long they will be around, and it could be for a long time!

These people adopted the pooch from a shelter in 1982!

What a beautiful pup. I always pray my little ones will be around for a loooooooooong time.

ETA: Great article. I wonder though, why would the mans age be a factor in what kind of dog he adopted? Is it because he wanted to adopt a breed that might need too much activity?

Once I was shopping for dog food and there's this lady doing some product promotion in the store. She told me that her 19 y.o. Golden was eating this certain brand and I should give it a try. I've never heard of any Golden lives this long. It's just too good to be true.

What a great story,you never know,do you..I've heard people say,the life expectancy of most larger dogs is 8-10 yrs.
I think that is really sad and have often wondered why that is:confused:

Awww....Bella is adorable! My aunt once had a Lab X Collie that lived to be 18, and she was the oldest dog I have ever heard of until now.
