Another day, another beach :cloud9:
This one is a little more rugged, typically Lake Superior. Waves were crashing in and it was powerful as every. We really like this beach cause hardly anyone goes there and at the end of it is a nice spot that is a bit protected by an island so we can go in the water without having to deal will all of Superior's might. Only trouble, the water is freezing.... about 4C last I checked, it gets up to about 7C by summer http://bestsmileys.com/cold/3.gif
Cuz came along (of course) but I had to give him a lifeline... we didn't want any accidents and it was too cold in the water for Molly to go rescue him if he got away. Worked pretty good but made me laugh... practicing my old lifeguarding - buoy throwing skills :D

It's been a rough winter/spring (lots of stormy weather) on Superior and some pretty impressive flotsam has washed up... including a couple of huge "trees" - all smoothed and polished by the powerful surf. This one was particularly impressive

Brave Molly goes in to investigate the sea monsters (big trees getting tossed about by the waves) - she was not intimidated!

I was terrified that she'd get hit by one
