Love the photos :thumbs up . Lucky would have made it halfway up the tree  . Is Basil just mesmorized by squirrels or does he go barkiing mad after them?

The harness is pretty good. I prefer the Rough Wear harness only because my dogs have very fine hair on their chests and the Vest Harness tends to wear it a bit, but I've used it for 3 years and been happy with everything else about it.

No barking, he just literally vibrates with concentration if I make him stay put, or he tries to go up the tree after them. Basil and Streets are sweet, but when it comes to small fuzzies they're all psycho drive

He's pointing! Make that boy an honorary English Setter!

Ours have that same intensity...not only on squirrels, though. Butterflies work just as well. :dog:

Yep, Logan and Chase are the same way.....not only with squirrels but the marmots and gophers as well.

Streets was with me, being equally concentrated, but on the wrong side of the camera. I'll have to get pictures for Squirrel Hunting 2: The Return of Streets:laughing:

Okay, so they haven't learned to use the camera yet (though neither has the human boy, so, ya know....), but I finally had to crate train them at 5 years old because Basil figured out how to take food off shelves that are too high for me.

I still haven't figured out how he did it, but I suspect it was only a matter of time before he started opening the fridge, making himself and Streets a sandwich and then maybe unlocking the door and going for a walk
