I'm beginning to think he's never going to grow into these. Maybe he's heard the rumour that he's got a future career as a sled dog and these are his snow shoes :crazy:

Yeah, his colour is beginning to grow on me too. I was never particularly a fan of red dogs, I always preferred the black & white BC's. I do like that he's a nice dark chocolate-y colour and I'm hoping it will stay that way. Maybe it will since he's a smooth coat. I think maybe the fine ends on the longer hair may be more prone to sun bleaching.

Obviously given my colour preference I didn't choose him for his colour ;) He's got personality plus and a nice sturdy frame for sledwork. And he's such a cutie.
