I guess I said yes - he was so nervous that we realized later he didn't really ask.. Just muttered something about getting married someday .. I had to ask him if we were engaged or not.. he said yes.. :rolleyes: :D

Actually, he couldn't afford a ring, so he gave me a nice watch with a diamond in it .. and he put it on my like a ring..

It was sweet, but I told him I want at least a 50 cent ring until the real one comes - when you tell people you got an engagement watch instead, people look at you a little funny.. :)

so romantic! :rolleyes: My guy actually had something written down that he was trying to memorize all day - but when it came down to go time, he completely forgot what it said.. I told him he should have brought the paper and read it.. he said he didn't think of that.. :D

:eek: 15 years?! My sister had to wait about 6, and she wasn't pleased about it! I feel good that at least I got a watch - so it's something.. I know I don't need a ring, but.. :)
