Hi guys I have a friend seriously looking to buy a Toy?Teacup dog.
She has asked me to help find a reputable breeder and I am not having much luck. I don't know anything about these wee ones.
We live in Southern Ontario east of Toronto.
Do any of you know any good breeders in this area?
Thanks

Has she checked the local shelters ?

Petsmart frequently has local shelters and rescue groups in for adoption days as well.

There is no registered breed of dog that comes in a "teacup" size. Dogs sold as "teacups" are most often bred from under standard dogs that have difficulty whelping.

Find an ethical breeder that breeds the breed your friend is interested in. Chances are, at some point they have a puppy that is too small to show (and YES that really is important!!) and are willing to part with it for a reasonable sum of money.
