Shih Tzhu that needs a new home. A girl from another web site was talking about this 17 month old male Shih, that needs a new home. Owners divorcing, no time yada yada yada. BS :yell::yell::frustrated: So, this girl lives 20 minutes from me and she cannot keep him because she has 3 already and our stupid bylaw says we can only have 2 dogs. So, I think I am going to have to take him for a bit and find him a home. So now hubby is a little agitated about having 3 dogs. But to beat the bylaw ( and the bylaw guy told me this) he said to license the dog out of our region and if any officer came over, just say he is visiting for a while. So, I guess I will be fostering this little man until he gets a great new home.

Yep, a great reason to give up your dog.
Shaykeija, it's really nice that you and your hubby are going to be able to foster the little guy. Post pics as soon as you can. :thumbs up

See I hate when people do this why not just not get the dog in the first place, don't they realise the emotional trama they are putting the animal through?
I can only Imagen
I once I knew a woman whos husband got a job overseas and she stayed back 6 months to try and beat the system and get all these shots and tests and papaers to bring hers with her...in the end she was told that she could bring him but the dog would have to be quarnteened for 6 months with no direct human contact so she had given him to family.
In this case I can some what understand they moved over seas better job near family etc etc. but pets are a part of the family, its so sad we feel that we can just give them away

People use all kinds of excuses. Yesterday I read a post on Craigslist. The guy was moving to the U.S. from Canada and posted that he couldn't bring the dog because of import laws which is a load of crap.. All the dog needs is a rabies shot.

Well little Sneakers is here safe and sound. What a sweetheart. He never even bat an eye at Piper and played with HRH Missie the poo and well, Miss Tyra was all excited to see another flat face in the house. So the little fart is checking out my bed room. Must wanna stay, because the little bugger lifted his leg and marked my bed as HIS LOL. No biggie, just will have to wash the bedspread. The people who gave him up were kind, they gave me a 40 pound bag of crap food, which fell out of my car on the way home. The foxes can have it. But, he did come with a collar, leash, 2 toys, blankie and some cookies. The person who was holding him for me said he has not eaten anything except a few treats since Sunday. Tomorrow I will introduce him to HRH Missy the Poo's demand breakfast omelet. Right now he is playing with my...OMG his not playing with my pillow he is humping the crap out of it. LOL We be getting you neutered soon. On the better side, I have someone coming over tomorrow to meet him. My vet's tec. How great is that? Crap, I think I will have to send my pillow with him. He really likes it lol.

Shaykeija - I might be able to help. I sent you a pm. I'm thinking Abby could use a friend around here if the hubby doesn't mind two dogs, I'll do a little arm twisting tonight.

But I have posted pictures in the picture section.. LOL I am thinking of keeping him. Right now, I just want him to put some weight on and get comfortable and loved. On the funny side, I really have to make and appointment to get him neutered. He had so much fun with a down pillow last night, my husband wants to change his name from Sneakers to Porn Star... lol
