From the other day when we went on a little sled trip. This is when we were taking a break.

He is just gorgeous (and vocal)!!! Beautiful day too...where in Ontario are you that there is still so much white snow.

We still have snow but it is the awful, dirty spring snow...yuck!

Those were taken on Sunday and we were also able to sled on Monday, though it was getting softer. A couple of days later everything was melting and if you could see my fields at the moment you'd see they're the furthest thing from beautiful and white. All that beautiful clean snow has melted into terrible deep boot sucking mud at my place and it's raining right now which will make it even worse  Now that there's no snow for sledding I'm keeping my fingers crossed :fingerscr that everything dries up as quickly as possible. 7 sets of muddy paws running around my house gets old real fast

p.s. I'm in Haliburton County and we did have beautiful clean snow until just a few days ago. Monday evening was our last trip out with the dogsled, yesterday I ran the dogs on the road with my dryland cart.

OK I don't feel so badly now...same story here (Montreal). Beautiful until about Sat or Sun and this week so far I have had TWO knee hugging soakers walking in the woods and falling through the soft snow. GROSS AND COLD!!!!! lol

Thanks. He is a nice dog and he was one of my rescue pups. I also have his sister Rain but she's not sledding right now. Too much wrestling with the big boys so now she's limping around and off work for a while.

I'm glad I was finally able to take some decent pics with dh's camera. Mine stinks, I can't take a good photo with it to save my life. They all turn out overexposed, underexposed or off colour no matter what settings I change. Now I just need to play around with his camera a bit more and figure out how to use it on different settings.
