Hmmmmm I guess no one likes my pictures of my lost loves. I guess I should tell you a little about them.

Akeija was given to me as a Christmas present and I sure loved her. She chewed everything, including the insides of a fully loaded Mercedes. LOL The guy sure was p'od at her. I took a complete year off to train her. She was trained for hand and vocal commands. My husband was bugging me one night and I told him keep it up and Akeija will eat you. He did the pooky wooky will never bite me thingy. I gave Akeija a hand command and she snarly faced him into a corner. LOL Cujo at her best. We had to put her down at the ripe old age of 14. I miss her.

My Husband rescued Salsa from an abusive person. (He does not like cats, so this was a biggie for him) The first night we had Salsa at home, he was curled up beside me purring. I saw this hand come over me to flick Salsa's ear, I said to hubby "And what are you doing?" he goes " Nothing, nice kitty" and pets him. LOL. Salsa was killed on our deck by a stray dog. Neither I or Akeija could to get to him in time. I miss his purrs.

Charlie came into my life from the pound. He was what I call the indoor mountain climber. His favorite thing was to sleep on top of my cupboards. He liked going into my attached garage and hunt the mice and chipmunks. I cannot count the number of chipmunks i saved from this black panther. Charlie went missing the day we moved. I went back everyday for months hoping to find him. I left food and spent hours calling him name. He was found dead. I miss his jungle calls.

The first time I saw Dallas, she was under a barn. I had to crawl under and get her. She loved everyone except other dogs. She was gentle and loved her treats. She was extremely camera shy and would hide when I tried to take her picture. She died in 2004 to colon cancer. I miss her presence.

Shayker was a gift to me the year I had my stroke. This little bundle of fur and attitude helped me recover my speech. She was the only one who understood me for 8 long months. She was born with CRF and was dieing from the minute she was born. It will be 6 years on April 21st and I still cry for her.

Sophie came into my life after Dallas died. HRH Missie the poo was so depressed after her buddy Dallas died, she stopped eating. Sophie was a joy and had a beautiful soul. She loved me so much and brought me joy when my life was at it's lowest. She could out snore any man. It was surprising the snores that came out of her little body. She died at 5 years old to heart failure. I miss those incredible eyes that looked into your heart.

2002 was a awful year. I not only lost Akeija, Shayker and Charlie, but I also lost my businesses and house. It was a terrible year.

You've got some great pics & great memories of wonderful lives that have touched yours.

My homeopathic vet told me "Each animal come into our lives to teach us something.....we just need to figure out what that is."

What a terrible year that was for you. I am so sorry for all your losses. Your furries were all so beautiful. You always miss them, don't you. They have a way of sneaking into the hearts of most "don't like animals" kind of people.
