common plants poisonous to dogs

i found a list of a bunch of poisionous plant to dogs, and i just thought i would share them here in case of any plant ingetion...

Some of that is poisonous for people too! Especially with children.

thats true..i didnt really think to mention that as it was a dog book i was read, and i know some of them are poisionous to cats to, thanks for pointing that out!:thumbs up

Actually, that list should be a good deal longer.
I have and always have had most of those plants and a number of others that are known to be in the garden. It's never been an issue with the dogs or cats. :shrug: I would worry more about kids with a lot of them. I've even moved my aconitum (monkshood) plants when my neighbours grandkids were big enough to start taste testing some plants, just to be safe.
