Has anyone seen this poor dog...

A Pit-bull decided he would battle a Porcupine in back of his house in Southern California

But being both brave and stupid, he ultimately learned the hard way that he can't always win.

A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.

The dog survived,

OMG! The poor dog!!!

I sure hope they gave him lots of pain meds, HORRIBLE, poor little guy:cry:

OMG, poor baby, i hope his eyes are ok. Is it just me but it doesn't look like a pit bull, looks like a bull terrier, look how long the face is, and upright ears.

as stubborn as my three dogs are, I am sure they would've givenup way before that dog did! Maybe after 1 or 2 quills!!

What a horrible thing! I remember being horrified by the movie Homeward Bound when Chance got stuck by a porcupine. :sad:

I hope he wasn't blinded:eek:.

Apparently this is old news...The dog did recover and is doing very well...hopefully away from porcupines.
