It's too bad, but a lot of these so-called "sanctuaries" end up turning into hoarding cases. Poor kitties.

It says they suspected this since 2002 AND visited last October ? :wall: why does it takes them so long to make a move ?

Those poor cats.

as bad as this situation sounds, what took them so long is a thing called Human Rights. if i dont want someone on my property, i have every right, short of a court order, to keep anyone and everyone off my property. a court order can be had by a judge, supported by clear evidence that something illegal is likely happening ON my property.

for example-

Frenchy's neighbor called the police on her because they suspected she had a meth lab in her kitchen (out of spite cause her dogs poop can be smelled if they stand on that side of their yard and the wind is just right). that is NOT grounds to raid her house, its NOT grounds to get a court order to raid her house.

or

Frenchy's neighbors called the police saying they smelled a weird smell coming from her house, her kitchen was obviously on fire and she didnt called the fire department. it did quite a bit of damage but she managed to put it out herself. now she has suspicious (insert gun toting, rags wearing dirty) people coming and going from her house all the time. THEN they would put her house under surveillance to find enough evidence to get a court order to raid her house.

our wonderful, competent president basically took all of our rights away after 9/11. you dont often hear about things like-

neighbors call the FBI (cause they have a number!) about their neighbors because they are Muslim and reclusive (cause they are constantly shown hatred by ignorant Americans) and they must be terrorist.

-but they happen. unfortunately these Human Rights laws also protect folks who do bad things sometimes. to take the rights away from others, you have to take YOUR rights away. please dont forget these things when you get angry about situations like this.
