The title pretty much says it all. My best friend Bentley and I are moving and are wondering if anyone has any tips on easing the stress on the bad guy.
Thanks

I've moved many times, with cats and dogs. The cats would sit on top of the pile of boxes to make sure I didn't forget them. Two were moved by car from France to Norway, ferry included (6 hours in the car on the car-deck, I sedated them lightly for that part only).

The dogs never seemed overly worried about anything, just curious and following me around till they figured they were in the way and I wasn't leaving them anyway.

On the moving day, cats locked in one room so as to not be under foot or get away; dogs tied outside or left in the yard if fenced. Once the truck was loaded, the animals were placed in my car, and the same procedure would take place at the new house, cats locked in, dogs outside. Once the truck left, they would be allowed to roam and explore the house.

Since all "their" furniture and things were in the new house, as well as "their" human(s), they always settled down within a few hours.

But then, I never stressed over it, so why would they?

If Bentley is used to going for car rides you won't have any problems. How far are you moving? Will you need to stay overnight anywhere?

Were only moving one city over ( about 20 mins away) so that isnt worrying me.
Its leaving him alone and him stressing and breakin stuff. because when i go back to work we weil have only been in the house for a couple of days.
