I had almost forgotten how nasty a severe cat bite can be, until this afternoon.
I have a new neighbor who just lost his wife to cancer at New Years. He recently took a new job which will keep him out of town for a week at a time and he asked me to "snout sit" for his two cats. No biggie. I watch after many others during our busy months.
So, today I stopped by for my little orientation & meet -n-greet the kids...as soon as I walked in the door, the guy's Havana Brown came running up so I reached out for a pet..that's when Catzilla latched onto my left wrist. This demon cat from hell had such a grip his dad had to pry his jaws off of my arm..*insert vulgar words here*. My wrist is very swollen, (expected) and oh..the pain! (expected too) I see many soakings in my future and maybe a round of antibiotics also.
I shoulda known better, the guy has a sign out front., "Protected By An Attack Cat". Figgers...this is gonna be a nightmare job.
