They won't leave each other alone!!

March 14th, 2008, 08:53 PM
I had my female spayed yesterday, and now her and my male won't leave each other alone. What is going on with that? It was cute at first how attentive he was, but now it is ridiculous. They both try to mount each other and spin around in circles. Any ideas why this is happening, and how to correct it would be greatly appreciated.

it could be the smell from the spay thinks it might be a new dog

Male dogs seem to respond to the faint scent of blood and maybe hormone flux after a fem has been spayed. Probably would be a good idea to keep them apart for a few days so she doesn't strain anything.

He is not....but I am planning on getting it done. I wiped out my savings with recent vaccinations (X3), and the spaying. But I am saving up for him for sure.
Do you think it would make a difference?

Absolutely, and also, alot better for his health.
