A hint of Spring?

The snow finally receded enough for us to resume walking the countryside after a few weeks of walking closed roads . . . .

Below, Keeper explores the shores of Chain Lakes. In mid-April, we'll probably stop coming here until about mid-June, the ice turning dangerous but also we don't want any "accidents" with baby ducks and baby geese and babies in general which inhabit these shores in those months.

Haha. . . . well ancientgirl, I was in Orlando last week for a business conference, and made the express run over to Daytona then down to West Palm and back to Orlando . . . . it was freakin' cold there last week!!!

LOL, it was pretty cold down here, but it was very welcomed considering what awaits us in the Spring and Summer:frustrated:
